Linda Lee (Knox) Morgan

Linda Lee (Knox) Morgan age 76 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Friday September 6, 2024, in the Donnell House, Washington with her family by her side. She was born August 21, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Winnie Burnside Knox and lived in Hendersonville for the past 48 years. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Faith Chapel in Lawrence and was a graduate of Trinity High School. Linda had been employed as a clerk/typist with the Pennsylvania State Police at the Washington barracks and also worked in the dietary department at Friendship Village. Prior to her retirement, she was a cafeteria manager with the Upper St. Clair School District at Streams Elementary. Linda enjoyed cooking and baking and was well known for her Christmas cookies. She was an avid gardener, with vegetable and flower gardens all around her yard. On September 15,1973, she married John Morgan, who she leaves behind after 50 years of marriage. Also left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, April (Douglas) Hincy of Canonsburg and John E (Holly) Morgan of New Castle, her granddaughter, Fiona Hincy, siblings, Gerald (Sue) Knox of Warren, PA, Marilyn (Douglas) Ward of Washington and Reverend Daniel (Pamela) Knox of Ambridge and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Tuesday September 10, 2024, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Interment will follow at 10:30 am in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.
