Leroy H. "Wimpy" O'Neil age 80 of Bridgeville formerly of Muse, died February 25, 2010 in Veterans Hospital Oakland, Pittsburgh.
He was on October 25, 1929 in Cuddy, Pa., the son of the late John J. and Elizabeth M. McGregor O'Neil.
Mr. O'Neil was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Muse, where he lived for many years, also was a member of American Legion Post 0054, in Bridgeville.
He served with the Untied States Army during Korean War with the 224 Infantry Regiment 40th Divisions in that time he received National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. O'Neil was a Real Estate appraiser for many years.
He enjoyed watching football.
Surviving is one sister, Rosalie J. O'Neil of Bridgeville and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Margaret Gaynelle Smith and Collette O'Neil McAfee, five brothers, Raymond, Donald, Gerald, William and John O'Neil.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, February 27, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/ supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 8:30 AM. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church, Muse, with Father George DeVille as celebrated. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Full military honors will be accorded by the combined honors of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg and American Legion Post 902 of Houston
