Lena Marie DiSalle age 79 of Canonsburg, died Saturday July 17, 2010 in Canonsburg General Hospital. She was born August 21, 1930 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Antonio and Jessie Verona Luongo.
Mrs. DiSalle lived her entire life in Canonsburg where she was a member of St. Patrick church and the Christian Mothers and Guild. She had been employed at the RCA plant in Meadowlands and at St. Patrick church for many years.
On September 29, 1956 she married Mario DiSalle who died May 8, 2000. She is survived be many nieces and nephews. Mrs. DiSalle was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are three sisters, Mary Sanpietro, Angeline Luongo and Virginia Rose Yorke and a brother John Luongo.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at11:30am Monday July 19, 2010. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon in St. Patrick Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. The Christian Mothers and Guild will recite the rosary at 3:30pm Sunday in the funeral home
