Kenneth J. Golonka

Kenneth J. Golonka age 71 of Canonsburg passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning September 24, 2023. He was born July 27, 1952, in Canonsburg, a son of the late John J. and Victoria M. Kosharsky Golonka. Ken Live his life in Canonsburg and was a member of the former St. Genevieve Catholic Church and St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg and was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High school Class of 1970. Ken then attended West Liberty College for business. After college he worked with CONSOL coal and prior to his retirement had been employed for many years, as a purchasing agent with MSA Bacharach in Pittsburgh. Ken was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. Left behind to cherish his memory is his brother Larry (Kimrlee) Golonka of Franklin Park and several nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Thursday, September 28, 2023, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724-745-8120) where departing prayers will be recited at 9: 40 am Friday, September 29, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.
