Karen L. Schillo age 55 of Belle Vernon, formerly of McMurray died Friday, January 1, 2010, in Cedar Creek Group Home, Belle Vernon.
She was born in Pittsburgh, on January 24, 1954, the daughter of the late Carl G. and Shirley M. Beck Schillo.
Karen was one of the first to attend Peters Township Schools Special Education Program
Miss Schillo once worked for Hoss's Restaurant in Canonsburg.
Karen lived most of her life in McMurray.
Surviving are sister, Lori (Russell) Donegan of McDonald, Tenn.; two brothers, Kenneth Schillo of Goose Creek, S.C.; Jeffrey Schillo of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at noon, with Rev. Donald Austin officiating.
