Karen P. Cushey age 57 of Finleyville, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 8:42 AM in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, with her family by her family by her side. She was born on February 6, 1954, in Washington, the daughter of the late Paul P. and Dorothy J. Koman Telep.
Mrs. Cushey lived for the last 26 years in Finleyville. Prior to her retirement, she was a bartender at the Trolley Stop Inn in Bethel Park. She enjoyed shopping and was fun loving and witty.
On May 13, 1985 she married Jack Cushey, who survives. Also surviving are daughter, Ashley Cushey of Peters Twp.; brother, Kevin (Christy) Telep of Phoenix, AZ.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are welcome on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Thomas Hamilton officiating. Interment will be private in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Karen.
