Judith A. "Judy" Uram age 73 of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in her home.
She was born June 6, 1938 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late John A. and Katherine J. McNamara Barbour, Jr.
Mrs. Uram lived most of her life in Canonsburg and Houston. She was along time faithful member of Canonsburg Unite Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and volunteered for many Church functions.
Mrs. Uram was a retired registered nurse from Mayview State Hospital, prior to her retirement she also work at Canonsburg Hospital and the former South Hills Convalescence now Golden Living.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going to her grandchildren sporting events.
On June 3, 1961 she married David J. Uram, Sr. who passed away on December 21, 2008.
Surviving are three sons, Craig Stephen (Becky) Uram, Sr. of Washington; David James (Marcy) Uram, Jr.; of North Strabane ; Brian Scott Uram of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Craig (Katie) Uram, Jr.; Matthew (Mariann) Uram, Timothy, Breannon and Brogan Uram; three great-grandchildren, Zane, McKenna and Matthew, Jr.; two sisters, Janice Marchitello of Washington and Cathy (Bob) Donella of Muse, sisters-in-law, Loretta Uram and Judy (Bill) Setto, brother "in-law, George (Ernie) Uram and many nieces and nephews and also her faithful dog Dio.
Friends are welcome on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Thomas D. Hamilton officiating, Please meet family at Church at 12:30 pm no later then 12:45 pm. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
