Judi Kemis

Judi Kemis age 69 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 22, 2023, in Washington Hospital with her family by her side. She was born December 13, 1953, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late John P. and Philomena Testa Herman. Judi lived her life in Canonsurg and was a lifetime member of St. Patrick Church St. Oscar Romero Parish. She was a graduate of Canon- McMillan Sr. High School class of 1971 and had been employed for 18 years in sales accounting with Eighty-Four Lumber. Prio to her retirement Judi was a dietary aide with the Greenery. She was a girl scout leader for 30 plus years and was an avid fan of all her grandchildren’s sports activities, being very involved with them in everything. She was a very good cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Judi always had an open-door policy for all her children’s friends or anyone who just needed a place for some nurturing. She will be missed by her German Shepherd Skyla. On September 15, 1973, she married John E. Kemis Jr, of Houston, who survives after 50 years. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her children John E. (Michelle) Kemis III of Canonsburg, Justena Jawn Kinney of Bentleyville, Joshua Isaiah ( Michelle) Kemis of Eighty-Four and Jenna Aquaria Anderson (Fiancé Brian Clark) of Canonsburg, her sister Amy (Mark) Cowden of Hickory, her beloved grandchildren Noah and Slade Kemis, Piper Rylie Kemis , Alyvia Elle Kemis, Joseph Thomas Kinney, Tanner Thomas “Snuggle Bug” Kinney, Klayton Robert Kemis, Zander Thomas Anderson and Kayden Makala Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome from 3 until 8 pm Tuesday, November 28, in SALANDRA FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P.
