Juanita J. Guest

Juanita J. Guest age 81 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Paramount Senior Living of McMurray. She was born November 30, 1932 in Charleroi a daughter of the late Robert and Georgette Mejean Waddell. Mrs. Guest lived in the Canonsburg area for most of her life and was a homemaker and had graduated from Charleroi High School class of 1950. She was a very dedicated member of her card club for over forty years and a member of the Methodist Church bowling league. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and was an avid bird watcher.
On June 23, 1951 she married James W. Guest who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children James R. Guest of Kapolei, HI, Cynthia A. (Jeffrey) Derrico of Canonsburg and Kenneth L. (Jill) Guest of Washington, four grandchildren; Justin Derrico, Jenna Derrico, Britni (Mark) Hunkele and Brogan (Tim) Keane, a great grandson Henry Hunkele, two sisters; Roberta (Cliff) Parola of Irwin and Susan (Jack) Gillon of Manassas, VA., a brother Sherman Waddell of Las Vegas and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Deceased is a brother Sylvain "Robert" Waddell.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 1 pm Saturday August 23, 2014 with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens McMurray.
