Joseph L. Rozanc III age 74 of Houston died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Canonsburg General Hospital. He was born August 31, 1937 in Canonsburg a son of Martha Skintek Rozanc of Houston and the late Joseph L. Rozanc Jr.
He lived most of his life in Houston and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
Mr. Rozanc served with the United States Army and was employed as and ironworker, a member of local 3. He was a member of the American Legion post 902 and the Houston Independent Club.
On November 26, 1960 he married Marian Zadik who died January 26, 2011. Surviving in addition to his mother, are three daughters; Mary Ann Rozanc and Theresa (Chad) Schneider both of Canonsburg and Carole (Scott Tomsic) Rozanc of Houston, two sons; Joe Rozanc of Houston and Michael C. (Colleen) Rozanc of Bethel Park; a sister Carole (Robert) Davis of Canonsburg, a brother Robert (Jean) Rozanc of Canonsburg; ten grandchildren, Bryan Rozanc, John Lowery, Mike Rozanc, Melissa Rozanc, Victor LiPari, Jordan and Brook Marchitello, Megan Rozanc , Adrian and Josh Tomsic; five great grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew, Aubrey, David and Sienna and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 2-8pm Sunday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at 8:30 am Monday November 28, 2011, followed at 10 am by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church. Interment with full military honors, by the American Legion post 902 and the VFW post 191 will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.
