Joseph A. Myzak

March 30, 1962 — December 30, 2015

Joseph A. Myzak, 53, of South Strabane, passed away in the Florida Keys on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born on March 30, 1962 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Raymond Myzak, Sr. and Anna May South Myzak.

Joe traveled the world earlier in his life, making his mark in the drilling industry.  Upon his return home, he opened his own successful oil field company, Myzak Hydraulics.  After many years of hard work, Joe retired two years ago to spend more time with his family.

Joe had been a member of the Barbarians Motorcycle Club.  He then became a proud member of the Pagan’s Motorcycle Club 1%.  In addition to his motorcycle club memberships, Joe was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Sons of the American Legion, the Polanka Club, and the Independence Club.

Joe was a loving husband and father, and a great friend.  He will be missed by all.

On March 24, 1991 he married his beloved wife, Ann Myzak, who survives.

Also surviving are his two loving children, Darren and Rebecca Myzak; brother, Ray (Kim) Myzak; and two nephews, Michael and Matthew Myzak.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna Marie Nuzum.

Friends are welcome from 1-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2016 and from 1-8 PM on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb funeral director, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a Catholic Blessing Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2016.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
