John J. Pagano age 75 of Meadow Lands died Saturday October 3, 2009 in Washington Hospital, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness
He was born June18, 1934 in Canonsburg a son of the late Carmen A .and Nellie M. Dzikowski Pagano. Mr. Pagano graduated from Canonsburg High School and served with the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machinist at the former Cooper Power Systems and McGraw Edison in Canonsburg.
He lived in Meadow Lands for the past 54 years, where he was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal R.C. church, the Fraternal order of Bears and was a charter member of the Chartiers Twp. Volunteer Fire Department He enjoyed winemaking, gardening, cooking and annual trips to LasVegas. Mr. Pagano was a
loving uncle, nephew, cousin and special brother-in-law.
On September 24, 1955 he married Dolores Rendziak who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Richard A. Pagano of Meadow Lands and John A. (Sue) Pagano of Washington, a granddaughter Leah Pagano and several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday October 6, 2009 in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2009 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at a time to be announced, In Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadow Lands.
