John T. Daugherty IV age 53 of Eighty Four died unexpexctedly on Monday January 7, 2013 in his home.
He was born July 1, 1959 in Pittsburgh a son of the late John T. and Dorothy Dougherty Daugherty Jr. Mr. Daugherty was last employed as a Laborer in heavy construction, and lived in Eighty Four since 1996.
On April 26, 1974 he married Linda Summers who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters; Christina Lynn (Doyle Brooks) Daugherty of Avalon and Linda Joann Daugherty of Eighty Four, two sons; John T. (Fran) Daugherty V of Charleroi and Albert Michael Daugherty of Eighty Four, a brother Carlo (Sonya) Daugherty of Coal Center, three sisters; Johnalynn (Robert) Jenkins of Charleroi, Congetta (Chuck) Trichler of Pittsburgh and Frances (Andrew) Pershina of Eighty Four, eleven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Gamble and a brother John T. Daugherty III who died in infancy.
