John Borda age 55 of Rogersville, formerly of Canonsburg died at 8:52pm Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Southwest Regional of Waynesburg.
He was born January 15, 1956 in Washington, a son of the late Steve and Evelyn Lorraine Rice Borda.
Mr. Borda was Catholic by faith; lived most of his life in Canonsburg/Cecil area and worked for Borda Construction.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends; he also was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are daughter, Kimberly Ann Borda, two sisters Belinda (John) Lesjak of Cecil Twp. and Christine (David) Woods of Lawrence, his brother Steve Borda III of Houston, a nephew John Steven Lesjak, a niece, Alysha Evelyn Lesjak and aunts, uncles and cousins. Deceased in addition to his parents is a niece Pennysue Borda.
Friends are welcome on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc.; Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
