Joan M. Gonglik age 71 of Canonsburg, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2012 in the Washington County Health Center.
She was born on April 4, 1940 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Martin P. And Helen Talpas Gonglik.
Miss Gonglik lived her entire life in Canonsburg, where she was a member of St. Patrick Church, 1st Catholic Slovak Union and 1st Catholic Ladies Union.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are sister, Kathleen (Mark) Bainer of Washington, two brothers Gilbert Gonglik and Kenneth Gonglik both of Canonsburg several nieces and nephews, Martin (Heather) Gonglik, Charles (Maria) Gonglik, Helaina (Darby) Teahan, Jarred Kobert, Autumn Gonglik and several great- nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Salandra Funeral Service Inc.; Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Canonsburg.
