Jeffrey F. Hopper
Jeffrey F. Hopper, recently of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly of Greensburg and Canonsburg, PA, died suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, November 11, 2008. He was the son of the late Jack F. Hopper and Helen K. Hopper of New Cumberland, PA.
Jeff was born January 14, 1953 in Canonsburg, PA, where he spent his childhood. He graduated from Hempfield High School in Greensburg in 1972 and attended technical school in Youngwood, PA. He had held positions in California, Texas, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Helen Hopper, two sisters, Mary Jane Podboy and Sallie Hopper. He had a loving heart and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA .
Please meet at the church by 9:45 AM
Interment will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg.
Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
