Jean Lucille Treble, age 94 of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Molinaro Manor, Oakdale. She was born June 30, 1916 in Houston a daughter of Earl Samuel and Mabel Belle Sickels Wilson.
Mrs. Treble was a graduate of Canonsburg High School class of 1935 and had attended The Lighthouse Church in Washington. She was superintendent at Oak Spring Cemetery in Canonsburg for 40 years, prior to her retirement in 1996.
On October 17, 1936 she married Anthony T. Treble who died July 19, 1969.
Mrs. Treble is survived by her daughter Nancy Jean Smith of Canonsburg, a sister Pat R. Kunselman of Canonsburg, four grandchildren; Mary Lu Allen, Diane L. D'Loss, Laurie J. McGlothlin and Wendy Marody; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; nephew, Jerry Kunselman, who took care of her and worked with her for many years, and several other nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter Margie Treble who died in July of 1958 and a sister Thelma Hoffman.
Friends are welcome from 2-8 PM on Friday, February 25, 2011 in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor George Van Riper officiating.
