Jean L. Dubois "Yarkosky age 85 of Strabane passed away on Monday November 15, 2010 in the Donnell House.
She was born on March 26, 1925, in Bronx, New York, the daughter of Frank and Adele Wanderlingh Russo.
Jean was a member of St. Patrick Church, the S.N.P.J. lodge #138 of Strabane and American Legion Post 902 Ladies Auxiliary of Houston.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, dancing and cooking for her family and friends.
On September 18, 1965 she married August A. Yarkosky who died January 10, 2005.
Surviving are daughter, Michelle Braddock of Houston; two sons, Kenneth (Cynthia) Dubois of Chino, CA.; Richard (Beth) Dubois of Jacksonville, FL.; step daughter Barbara Yarkosky of Canonsburg step son, August (Denise) Yarkosky of Greensburg; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased also is Emile Dubois, Jr., who she was previously married to, granddaughter, Robin Dubois and three brothers, Salvatore, Frank and Alfred Russo.
Friends are welcome on Wednesday November 17, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner / supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10: 00 am with Pastor Larry Leonard and Deacon Leo Amati of P.A.B.C. of Washington, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery Canonsburg.
