Jane L. Moon age 62, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, April 4, 2010 in her home.
She was born on July 7, 1949 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Ernest and Sara Neill Myers.
Mrs. Moon was a member of Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Eastern Star organization.
She was a graduate Chartiers Valley High School and after received her degree in nursing.
Mrs. Moon retired from nursing from Mayview State Hospital, where she also taught CPR certification classes and advance nursing skills.
She enjoyed backing especially pumpkin rolls and nut rolls, making cookies at Christmas time for her children and planting her flower gardens with her favorite flower roses.
On October 17, 1975 she married John F. Moon who survives.
Also surviving are her three sons, Matthew J. (Mary) Moon of Philadelphia, Pa.; Justin J. Moon stationed in Camp Lejeune, N.C.; Jason J. Moon of Canonsburg; one brother, James (Sandy) Myers of Canonsburg and loyal companion and friend her dog Camille.
At the request of Jane there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 am in Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Donald Austin officiating. Please join family for a gathering after service in the church's fellowship hall. Arrangements were entrusted to Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P.
