James T. Herron, Jr. VMD

James T. Herron V.M.D. of Canonsburg passed away Thursday April 6, 2017 He was born September 23, 1941 a son of the late James T Herron Sr V.M.D. and Frances Cowan Herron. He lived most of his life in Canonsburg and was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. He was a veterinarian in Canonsburg, practicing with his father.  Dr. Herron graduated from Canonsburg High School and the University of Pennsylvania. He was the Historian for the borough of Canonsburg and served on the boards of the Jefferson College Historical Society and Oak Spring Cemetery and was a dedicated volunteer at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum at Arden .

Surviving are his brother John M. Herron Ph.D. and his wife Karen Barkey M. D. of Gibsonia, a nephew, John C. Herron and his wife Melissa, a grandnephew, Zachery Herron and Christy and Paul Krajacic. At the request of the deceased there was no public visitation. Private interment is in Oak Spring Cemetery.
