Irene Kiselow age 80 of Canonsburg, died at 7:50pm Sunday July 31, 2011 in Broadmore Senior Care, in Bridgeville. She was born July 26, 1931 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late John S. and Mary E Tomecsko Yarkosky.
Mrs. Kiselow lived her entire life in Canonsburg where she was a member of St. Patrick church and the Christian Mothers and Guild. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed for many years as a title clerk at the former Tomsic Olds/Cadillac in Canonsburg.
On October 12, 1954 she married Joseph E. Kiselow who died March 30, 2001. Surviving are two sons, Scott D. Kiselow of Carnegie and Mark E. Kiselow of La Quinta, California, two daughters, Betsy A. (Tim) Counihan of Houston and Lori A. (Tom) Lochran of Canonsburg a brother Edward Yarkosky of Seattle Washington, six grandchildren, Josh and Paige Counihan, Abby, Ben, Noah and Jack Lochran and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents is a sister Alice Bower.
Friends are welcome from 6-8pm Tuesday and from 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at 9:30am Thursday August 4, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday in St. Patrick Church with interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
