Homer Thompson Brown, 80, of Easton, Maryland, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Annapolis, Maryland.
Born on March 2, 1935 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Homer H. and Mary Thompson Brown. He graduated from Oliver High School, where he was a member of the swimming team.
Homer proudly served his country for ten years with the National Guard in the States of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. After 33 years of service, Homer retired from Trans World Airlines in 1989.
He is survived by Dorothy Eonda Brown, his loving wife of 58 years, his three godsons Kevin McAllister, Brian McAllister and Jonathan Isaacs, and three special cousins Nancy Thompson Worstell, Charlene Thompson Madera and Ruth Thompson Westman.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 2309 in Gambrills, MD.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or service. Private entombment will take place in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
