Helen W. “Babi” Grace, 82 of Washington, formerly of Eighty Four and Muse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 14, 1935 in Avella to Andrew and Anna Korba Whitco who preceded her in death.
Ms. Grace was a 1953 graduate of Bridgeville High School.
She was a faithful member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
Her employment was in Accounts Payable as an Administrative Assistant with Dymamet, Inc., for 21 years until her retirement.
Her hobbies included cooking, baking, crocheting, her iPad and spending time with her beloved family.
She is survived by her children Richard M. (Marjorie) Grace of Washington, David A. (Kimberly) Grace of Aliquippa, Sharon M. (Kenny Paul) Moschell of Canonsburg and Carol Ann Grace (Nancy) of Coral Springs, Florida, her two sisters Anna Mae Whitco of Mt. Lebanon and Mary Evelyn (Stephen) Parish of Finleyville, her step siblings, Carol (Ray) Wolfe, Nancy Gibbs, Joanne (Dick) Kieta, Jean (Dick) Eutsey, Richard McQuigg, Ron (Georgiane) McQuigg and Loraine (Randy) Garlick, seven grandchildren Nicole (Sean) Shaffer, Jennifer (Michael) McCarthy, Richard M. (Nicole) Grace, Heather (Josh) Hopkins, Shelby (Jake) Shingles, Jeffrey A. (Kelly) Grace and Kenny Paul Moschell, seven great grandchildren Kaitlyn Shaffer, Steven (Riley) Bing, Camron Shaffer, Taylor Grace, Chase Hopkins, Mara McCarthy, Morgan McCarthy, her former husband Richard P. Grace of Claysville and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother Betty Whitco and a granddaughter Jessica Moschell.
Friends are welcome from 1 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner-supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where Parastas will be held at 1:00 p.m on Wednesday. Departing prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017. A Divine Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church, 166 E. College Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
