Helen L. (Kolaczynski) Simonelli age 83 of Palm Beach, Fl., formerly of Canonsburg, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
She was born July 10, 1928 in Washington, Pa.; the daughter of the late Metro and Anna L. Stufura Kopcha.
Mrs. Simonelli lived most of her life in Canonsburg, where she belonged to the GBU Club, VFW Post 191, Eagles Lodge and the Moose Club all of Canonsburg. In 2005 she relocated to Palm Beach, Fl.; to be closer to her children.
On October 10, 1948 she married first husband, Francis "Frank" Kolaczynski who passed away on August 3, 1973, then on May 17, 1980 she married second husband, Joseph Simonelli, who passed away on January 30, 1989.
Surviving are son, Robert M.(Heather) Kolaczynski and daughter Margaret (Tom) Greer, both of Palm Beach, Fl.; eight grandchildren, Kelli (John) Pritchard of Asheville, N.C.; Robert M. Kolaczynski Jr. of Pittsburgh; Travis R.. Kolaczynski of Palm Beach, Fl.; Tyler J. (Allison) Kolaczynski of Palm Beach, Fl.; Haley E., Jenna A., Jake A. and Jamisyn A. Kolaczynski all at home; two great-grandchildren; Evander Pritchard and Ryann Kolaczynski; two sisters, Mary Parshall of Washington and Anna Razor of Cleveland, Oh.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased also are two brothers, Frank and Mike Kopcha.
Friends are welcome on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 9: 30 AM to 11:30 AM the time of the Blessing Service at Salandra Funerals Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Patrick Church at noon. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Canonsburg.
