Gloria M. Green age 78 of Houston Died Thursday April 28, 2011 in Canonsburg General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born December 28, 1932 in Midland a daughter of the late William Fredrick and Rebecca Vinck Gump.
Mrs. Green lived in Houston since 1957 where she had attended the Central Assembly of God church. She was a homemaker.
On January 27, 1951 she married Willford F. (Bill) Green who died November 15, 2007. Surviving are a son William L. Green of Houston and a daughter Rebecca (James) Twigger of McDonald, eight grandchildren, Kristina (Eric) Keebaugh, Megan (Ken) Ward, Rachel (Michael) Bruce, Samuel and William A. Green, James (Lorena), Gregory (Dianne) and Alison Twigger , six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are her brother Alex Gump and three sisters, Silvia Gump, Betty Setto and Dolores Culp.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday and Monday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 11am Tuesday May 3, 2011 with pastor Kurt Jenkins, officiating.
