Glenn Luginski age 59 of Canonsburg, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at 9:50 PM in UPMC-Shadyside, Pittsburgh. -
He was born March 21, 1951 in Canonsburg, the son of the late Pete P. and Anna Marie Almasy Luginski.
Glenn was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School class of 1969 and received a Bachelors degree from America n University in Washington D.C.
Mr. Luginski was an Investigator for Erie Insurance and was a retired Captain of the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington D.C.
He lived most of his life in Washington D.C. and Canonsburg, where he was a member of St. Patrick Church.
Mr. Luginski was also member of the F.O.P. Fraternal Order of Police and I.A.S.I.U.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
On July 12, 1972 he married Beverly Druga, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Scott Luginski of Tallahassee, Florida; Christopher Luginski of Canonsburg; sister, Mary Ann Luginski of Heidelberg, two brothers, David ( Angel Secrest) Luginski of Tampa, Florida; Mark (Karen) Luginski of Canonsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, May 30, 2010 and Monday, May 31, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 725-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
