Germaine Lee Orsino age 76 of Washington died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Consulate Health Care of North Strabane. She was born September 17, 1933 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Olianus (Ole) and Vancie DeJohn Orsino. She had lived her entire life in the Canonsburg and Washington areas where she had been a member of St. Patrick and Immaculate Conception churches. Ms. Orsino had been employed as a Jeweler with the J.C. Penney Company in Washington for many years. She was a home maker who enjoyed dancing and spending time with her beloved sons, grand children and great grandchildren. She was known for her kind words for everyone.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Amor) Andy and Lou Andy both of Washington, a brother Olianus (Butch) (Rose) Orsino of Sun City-Hilton Head South Carolina, a sister Erma Orsino of Pam Springs California, three grandchildren, Christy (Dan) Notaro, Danielle (Rod) Belusko and Nick Andy, five great grandchildren, Abram Andy, Enzo Notaro, Sophia, Adelina and Santino Belusko, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg where a blessing service will be held at 10 am Saturday July 17, 2010. Private interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Vinquest Hospice 610 Park Avenue Monongahela PA. 15063 or the Washington County Humane Society Eighty-four, PA.
