George M. Campbell age 53 of Washington, formerly of Muse passed away peacefully Wednesday January 7, 2015 in his home following an extended illness. He was born March 13, 1961 in Canonsburg a son of Elizabeth L. (Betty) O'Neil Campbell of Washington and Allen R. "Mike" Campbell of McDonald. He lived most of his life in Muse where he had been a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. A graduate of Canon McMillan Senior High, he had been a superintendent with the former Norwin Construction Co, prior to his retirement.
Surviving in addition to his mother and father is his beloved daughter Samantha Sky Campbell, his stepmother, Carol Campbell of McDonald, his sister, Theresa Harrington of Oakdale, three nieces; Lindsay Jordon, Ashley Harrington and Tara Amic, a nephew Michael Harrington, three great nieces, a great nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
At Mr. Campbell's request his family is honoring his wishes and all funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb, funeral director 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
