George E. Belleno

George E "Jeep" Belleno age 81 of Muse died at 5:30 am Thursday August 27, 2009 at Town View Health Care in Canonsburg.
He was born January 30, 1928 in Cecil a son of John A. and Agnes Howcroft Belleno. Mr. Belleno lived his entire life in Muse and was a member of Holy Rosary Church and the Muse Independent Club. He served with the United States Marine Corp. Prior to his retirement, he had been a bus driver for the Canon McMillan School district for 34 years and had worked at George Furman Auto Body in Houston.
On August 10, 1952 he married Irene Furman who died December 22, 2002. Surviving are two sons, John A. (Kathy) Belleno of Houston and George A. (Amy) Belleno of Morgan, two grandchildren, Heidi Belleno Preaux and Jonathan Belleno, three great grand children Desiree, Darien and Luke and several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family. Deceased are two brothers, William and Paul Belleno and four sisters Mary Rubis, Mildred Christner, Hazel Cassidy and Alberta Patronie.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P Salandra owner/ supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, where a blessing service will be held at 10 am Saturday August 29, 2009 with Reverend George M. DeVille, Pastor of Holy Rosary Church officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Full Military rites will be accorded by the VFW post 191 of Canonsburg and the American Legion post 902 of Houston Honor Guard. Please send condolences to www.salandrafunerals.com
