Geno Graziotto age 99 of Lawrence passed away Tuesday April 8, 2014 in Consulate of South Hills. He was born February 7, 1915 in Nova Scotia Canada a son of the late Pietro and Maria Campagnaro Graziotto. He had been employed with Consolidation Coal Company for 50 years prior to his retirement. Mr. Graziotto was a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Roman Catholic Church and had been a member of the for St. Elizabeth Church in Lawrence, where he lived most of his life. He was a member of the SNPJ Lodge and the United Mine workers of America.
His wife Bruna Briselli Graziotto passed away March 8, 2012. Surviving is his son Pete (Gerry) Graziotto of Peters Township, his daughter in law Joan Graziotto of Lawrence, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family. Deceased in addition to his wife is a son Ronald Graziotto who passed away December 13, 2011, a sister, Yolanda Checkley and two brothers; John and Joseph Graziotto.
Friends are welcome from 2-8pm Thursday April 9, 2014 in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 11:15 am Friday April 10, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon in St. Benedict the Abbot Church 120 Abington Drive McMurray with Reverend Adam M. Verona as celebrant. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.
