Freeda M. Gill of Washington passed away Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at South Mont Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. She was born in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Isaac (Isiah) and Christina Mizner Boop.
Mrs. Gill was a devote homemaker, in her earlier years she enjoyed boating, gardening, traveling and cooking for her family. Mrs. Gill was Methodist by faith and a member of the Robin Club of Robinson Twp.
Surviving are her beloved children, son, Roger (Marion) Gill of Washington; daughter, Beverly Gill (John) Garwood of Roseville, Calf. eight grandchildren eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her two precious companions Pamby and Honey.
Deceased also are her husband of 43 years, Burton Gill who passed away in 1977, son, Ronald B. "Ron" Gill who passed away November 1, 2010 and a sister, Harriet Ketter.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Debra Rogaski officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Mc Kees Rocks. Family suggest in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Washington County Human Society in memory of Mrs. Gill.
