Freda H. (Goleski) Jeswilkowski (Viloski)

Freda H. Jeswilkowski (Viloski), 96 of Washington passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Washington Hospital.

She was born on October 26, 1920 in Canonsburg to Charles and Mildred Dunkovich Goleski who preceded her in death.

On June 11, 1942 she married Edward Jeswilkowkski who passed away on July 29, 1982.

Mrs. Jeswilkowski was a homemaker and devoted, active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Burgettstown where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters of America.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was an active member of the Burgettstown Senior Citizens Center. Her hobbies and interests included crocheting, playing cards and bingo. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by a son Charles Jeswilkowski (Joyce) of Pittsburgh and her daughter Mary Ann Badia of Canonsburg, one sister Clara Quader of Atlasburg six grandchildren, Lisa Badia, Carla Hutchinson, Daniel Badia, Maryann Ledger (David) , Amy Hastings(Richard) and Chad Jeswilkowski (Sally), eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Jeswilkowski, Stella Conjeski, and brothers Thomas, Gabriel, Alec, Stanley, and Frank Sharkey.

Friends are welcome from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will begin at 9:30 AM on Monday, June 5, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Burgettstown.
