Frank R. Lawrence, 83 of Eighty-Four passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 30, 1934 in Sturgeon to Frank and Elizabeth Multunas Lawrence who preceded him in death.

On November 15, 1955 he married Laverne DeVandry who survives.

He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg.

Mr. Lawrence was a United States veteran having served his country proudly as a Marine.

He was a self-employed truck driver for many years until his retirement who worked very hard to provide a good life for his family.

He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Above all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them all.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Mark  R. Lawrence of Eighty-Four, Keith R. Lawrence (Sandy) of Canonsburg, Don Eric Lawrence (Jennifer) of California and his only daughter Cynthia L. Young (William Scherz) of Canonsburg, his brother Dennis Lawrence (Shirley) of Carnegie, his sisters Betty Yawerski (Walter) of Greentree, Maryann Thomas of Louisiana and his beloved grandchildren Carmella Young, Corrina Bosley (Dustin), Kayla, Brianna and Hunter Lawrence and Zachary Boatright (Jenn) and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers William and Louis Lawrence.

Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Military Rites will be accorded by the VFW post 191 of Canonsburg Honor Guard. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp. will be private.
