Francis J. “Red Dog” Kraushaar age 81 of Muse, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in Transitions Health Care of Washington. He was born January 22, 1943, in Canonsburg as son of the late Robert H. and Sarah B. McCahill Kraushaar. Red Dog lived for many years in Miami Florida and returned to his home in Muse in 1992. He was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish Holy Rosary Church in Muse. In Florida Francis had been employed as a front services coordinator with Publix Markets in Miami. Prior to his retirement Red worked in maintenance and as an escort at Canonsburg General Hospital. He was a sportsman in his younger years where he excelled in softball. On September 18, 1964, he married Donna Greer who passed away on May 10, 2013. Left behind to cherish his memory is his beloved daughter, Stacy Lebrija of Miami Florida, his three grandchildren, Arielle Kraushaar, Christian and Nicholas Lebrija, his brother Robert W. Kraushaar of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife and parents is his daughter Deborah L. Turner who passed away February 4, 2020, and his brother Charles T Kraushaar who passed away October 26, 2022.
