Frances A. "Fran" Fall age 74 of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 27, 1936 in Bellaire, Ohio; the daughter of the late Larry and Selma Nelson Carrocci.
Mrs. Fall was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio. She lived for over 45 years in Canonsburg, was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Muse, was a member of Beta-Sigma-Phi of Canonsburg, worked for many years for Washington Answering Service and recently worked for McMurray Hills Manor as a receptionist.
Fran enjoyed shopping, playing cards, where she belonged to a local card club and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren the light of her life.
On July 19, 1958 she married James J. Fall, Sr. who died on January 11, 2002.
Surviving are son, James J. Fall of Canonsburg; two daughters, Lisa A. (George Tatano) Herforth of Canonsburg; Sallie A. (Vic "Pudgy") Bernardi of Cecil; ten grandchildren, Ryan, Cassidy, Hannah, and Cameron Fall, Lexie (Luke) Trnavsky, Amanda and Jeffrey Herforth, Brittnie, Victoria and Dustin Bernardi; two great-grandchildren, Landon Trnavsky and Kolton Herforth-Smith; brother, Larry Carrocci of Phoenix, AZ.; sister, Selma Potenzini of Steubenville, Oh.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased also is a sister, Mary Elizabeth Carrocci.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM, with Revered, George W. DeVille, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church Muse, officiating. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
