Frances A. Cushma age 77 of Canonsburg passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Consulate Health Care, Canonsburg.
She was born July 23, 1935 in Houston, the daughter of the late Anton and Catherine Mier Curl.
Mrs. Cushma was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School class of 1953 and lived her entire life in the Canonsburg area.
She was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and gardening.
On August 25, 1955 she married her beloved husband of 57 years, Thomas Cushma who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas A. and David A. Cushma and a daughter, Kathryn J. Cushma all of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Ann Stewart and Susan Gabster and two brothers, Rudolph Kosmus and Edward Curl. She was the last of her immediate family.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Clarejean E. Haury officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
