Evelyn J. Hayman age 85 of Hendersonville, died Friday, December 05, 2008 at 12:09 pm in Washington Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 2, 1923, in Washington, the daughter of Harry and Verna E. Huffman McChesney.
Mrs. Hayman lived most of her life in Hendersonville.
She was a former member of the Slovak Club in Canonsburg.
Mrs. Hayman was Protestant by faith.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Hayman was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
On March 7, 1942 she married Louis Francis Hayman, who died February 21, 1986.
Surviving three sons, Louis F. Hayman of Canonsburg; Harry T. (Betty Jo) Hayman ; Wayne F. (Chris) Hayman both of Hendersonville; seven daughters, Sarah (Kenneth) Andrews of McDonald; Mina (David) Higgins of Canonsburg; Nancy Rush-McGhee of Port View; Debbie Neswald of Punta Gorda, Fld.; Susan (Arthur) Martin of Washington; Donna (Donnie) Martin, Mary Lou (Edward) Cain both of Canonsburg; 30 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are one sister and two brothers.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, Pa. 15317 (724-745-8120), where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
