Eugene "Gene" Dioguardi age 72 of Canonsburg went to be with the Lord Monday, May 19, 2014. He was born January 6, 1942 in Rochester, Beaver County a son of the late Henry Eugene and Louise
Grasso Dioguardi. Mr. Dioguardi lived in the Canonsburg area since 1982 and was Catholic. He graduated from Rochester Senior High School in 1959 and received a B.S. degree in accounting from Robert Morris College. He served for six years with the United States Army Reserve and prior to his retirement in 1998 was an accountant with Consol Energy for 29 years. . Mr. Dioguardi enjoyed fishing, politics, sports and especially his Mazda Mitatas. He was an avid military history enthusiast.
On June 6, 2006 he married Sally Rebecca Bloom who survives. Also surviving are his daughter Lisa Dioguardi of Denver Colorado, two stepsons; Benjamin and Christopher Pachter both of Washington, a brother Mike J. (Diane) Dioguardi of Nashville Tennessee, a sister Linda Fleishour of Franklin Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
