Enrico R. Roncace age 89 of Houston passed away peacefully Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the Washington county Health Center.
He was born October 10, 1924 in Amatrice, Provenzia de L'Aquilla, Italy a son of Domenico and Julia Gentile Roncace. Mr. Roncace served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and prior to his retirement in 1985 had been employed as an engineer at the former RCA plants in Canonsburg and Meadowlands. He lived in Houston since 1947, was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Meadowlands and the American Legion Post 902 in Houston.
On October 17, 1953 he married Beatrice F. Arnone who survives. Also surviving are three daughters Deborah (Dave) Roncace of Muse, Marian Roncace of Canonsburg and Sue Roncace of Las Vegas Nevada, two sons; Robert (Elizabeth) Roncace of Ashburn, Virginia and James (Beth) Roncace of Murrysville, two grandchildren; Corwin and Evan Roncace, three brothers; Ezio (Anna) Roncace of Donora, John (Dorothy) Roncace of Albrightown and Emilio (Betty Lou) Roncace of Cherry Hill New Jersey, a sister Mary Graham of the state of California and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is a granddaughter Julia Roncace who died in infancy, and two sisters; Nora Ciliberti and Auquilina Roncace- who died in Infancy.
At the request of Mr. Roncace there will be no public visitation. Private family visitation and blessing services with reverend Carmen A. D'Amico, pastor of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church officiating will be held at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Interment will follow in St Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
