Emile Dubois Jr.

June 21, 1923 — March 19, 2010

Emile Dubois, Jr. age 86 of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Washington, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010.
He was World War II veteran and served as Seaman 1st Class in Untied States Coast Guard.
Mr. Dubois was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg and American Legion Post 902 of Houston.
He retired from Fisher Body as an Electrician and was known as DJ Elmo where he loved to play music.
Mr. Dubois had several polka bands in the 1960's and played at many local dances.
He also owned and operated Dubois Parts and Appliances in Washington, Pa.
Mr. Dubois loved the outdoors and enjoyed laying in the sun several hours a day.
He is survived by five children, Michele Braddock of Canonsburg; Kenny Dubois of Chino, Ca. Richard Dubois of Jacksonville, Fl.; Emile J. Dubois and Yvonne Dubois both of Washington; nine grandchildren, two brothers, Raymond and Marcel and one sister, Dorothy.
Deceased are one son, Ronnie Dubois and one sister, Bertha.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Family suggest in lieu of flowers donations be in the name of Emile Dubois, Jr., to your local Community Hospice or to www.Communityhospice.com.
Full military rites will be accorded by the combined honor guards of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg and American Legion Post 902 of Houston.
