Ella M. Trubiana, 92, of Canonsburg passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the Chateau Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Willowbrook, Illinois.
She was born on February 11, 1923 in Muse, a daughter of the late Matthew and Mary J. Puntar Kranz.
A 1941 graduate of Cecil High School, Ella was a resident of Canonsburg most of her life. For the past several years she resided with her son and daughter-in-law in Hinsdale, Illinois.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Guild. She was also a member of SNPJ Lodge 138 in Strabane, AFU Lodge 149 in Strabane, and St. Mary's Hilltoppers. Ella volunteered with the Women's Auxiliary of the Canonsburg Hospital. She had worked with the Union Supply Company and the H.C. Frick Coke Co. in Muse. Ella was also a librarian with the Canonsburg Public Library for many years.
On October 8, 1942 she married Anthony J. "Pancho" Trubiana, who passed away on April 29, 2000.
Surviving are her two children, Ronald J. (Paulette) Trubiana of Hinsdale, IL and Judy L. Trubiana of Honolulu, HI; two granddaughters, Kristie (Dr. William Wyssman) Trubiana Wyssman and Lisa (Steven Kline) Trubiana Kline; three great grandchildren, Hannah and Abigail Wyssman and Nathan Kline; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a brother, John M. Kranz and four sisters, Mary Heym, Ann Heym, Ollie Holt, and Mildred Clark.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Private interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
