Elizabeth (Cupka) Siry

Elizabeth Siry age 107 of Canonsburg passed away Thursday October 15, 2015 in Consulate Health Care North Strabane Twp. She had been the spouse of the late Frank “Whitey” Siry. Mrs. Siry was born February 12, 1908 in Pittsburgh a daughter of Andrew and Eva Menaros Cupka.

She lived most of her life in Houston and was co owner with her husband of the former Book Shop in Canonsburg.

Surviving are her twin daughters; Elizabeth Sasfai of South Fayette Twp. and Marianne S. Joyce of Simsbury Connecticut, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is her great grandson Leo and she was the last of her immediate family.

Friends are welcome Monday October 19, 2015 from 11:30am until noon the time of a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
