"Dances on a Path"
Elizabeth Josephine Bradehorst age 49 of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was born on January 1, 1962, in Washington, Pa.; a daughter of Thomas V. DeMars Sr. and the late Betty Jean Stiles DeMars. Ms. Bradehorst lived most of her life in Canonsburg where she was a 1980 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
She was very proud of her Native American ancestry and was preparing to be adopted into the Lenape Tribe. She enjoyed cooking, camping, gardening and her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her father are two daughters; Christina Claire (Justin) Stevens and Kathleen Conn, both of Canonsburg, a sister Joyce (Dietz) Lantz, three brothers; Thomas (Eko) DeMars Jr. of Charleston, S.C., Richard (Ruth) DeMars of Three Rivers, Michigan and Jean DeMars of Somerset, eight grandchildren; Mariah Conn, Sarah Miller, Nadia, Natalya and Melody Mikush, Chrisitna, Justin and Edward Stevens and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her mother is her daughter Elizabeth Marie Milkush who died June 12, 2010 and her sister Marie Toth.
Friends are welcome on Sunday February 27, 2011 in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, from 1-3pm time, of service with Reverend Thomas Hamilton, officiating. Interment will be private
