Edward E. Perry, age 88, of Eighty-Four, passed away peacefully, Monday February 17, 2025, in his home. He was born March 26, 1936, in Washington, the son of the late Edward L. and Myrtle Sickles Perry. Mr. Perry was a member of the Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Chartiers High School and proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. Prior to his retirement Edd had been employed with the former McGraw Edison Power Systems and Cooper Industries in Canonsburg. He then attended the Pittsburgh Technical Institute and worked in the parts department and made deliveries for Vasko Dodge, in Canonsburg. He loved gardening and reading, was a hunter and fisherman, did crossword puzzles and had been involved, with his wife, in the SNPJ Button Box group. Edd was a devoted husband and father. Left behind to cherish his memory are his devoted children, Gary L. (Karen) Perry, James E. (Dina) Perry, Bruce W. (Pamela) Perry and Barbara A. (Robert) Vasko, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Perry was the last of his immediate family, deceased, in addition to his parents are his beloved wife Carol Ann Whitaker Perry, who passed away June 12, 2004, and his two sisters, Helen Frantz and Dorothy Thomas. At Mr. Perry’s direction, all services and interment in Forest Lawn Gardens will be private for the family, with a celebration of his life to be held at a later date.
