Dr. Robert Zenon Burchesky, age 90, of Canonsburg and formerly of Utica and New Hartford, New York, passed away November 17, 2008 in Canonsburg, PA.
Robert was born on May 15, 1918 in Herkimer, New York, son of Michael and Helena Burczycki. He attended Syracuse and Georgetown University where he received his Doctorate of Dentistry Surgery (DDS) and the Dewey School of Orthodontia in New York City.
On May 6, 1944 Robert married Anne Dickenson Jennings of Johnson City, TN. who survives. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1948 with the rank of Captain. He practiced pediatric dentistry in Utica from 1948 and was president of the New York Society of Dentistry for Children until he retired in 1995.
