Dorothy Jean Leonardi
Dorothy Jean Leonardi, 84, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 5:07 PM in Canonsburg Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1925 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Michael and Susan Yurchsin Viner.
Mrs. Leonardi was a member of St. Patrick Church and the Christian Mothers of the church.
Before her retirement Mrs. Leonardi was an office clerk for the Sears Roebuck Company for many years. She had lived in Canonsburg for the past 63 years.
On January 27, 1946 she married Harry Leonardi who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Harry G. Leonardi of Edina, Minnesota, Chad Michael Leonardi of Spokane, Washington and Lenny Albert Leonardi of Seffner, Florida. Six grandchildren and one step grandchild, four great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
All of Mrs. Leonardi's brothers and sisters are deceased; she was the last of her immediate family.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. Those who wish to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Friday, June 19 2009 in St. Patrick Church are welcome. You are asked to please meet at the church.
Entombment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum.
