Dorothy Kubacki

Dorothy Kubacki age 96, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday May 18, 2024, in Evergreen Assisted Living in Washington. She was born September 23, 1927, in Beech Bottom, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Anna Smith Kurnafel. Dorothy lived most of her life in Canonsburg where she was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church and had been a graduate of Canonsburg High School class of 1947. Dorothy was a homemaker and had worked as a cashier and clerk at the former A & P store in Canonsburg in her younger years, when she also enjoyed bowling. On June 3, 1951, she married Edward H. Kubacki who passed away April 16, 2001. Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter Karen A. Kubacki of Strabane and sons Gary J. (Debbie) Kubacki and Edward M. (Lisa) Kubacki, both of Canonsburg, her beloved grandchildren, Sarah and Aaron Svidunovich, Andrew (Kari) Kubacki, Jared and Maxwell (Brianna) Kubacki and great grandchildren, Levi, Ellowyn, Liam and Carter Kubacki and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dorothy was the last of her immediate family. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents is her sister Helen Novak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery.
