Doris "Mae" Schultz

Doris Mae Schultz, 86, of Houston, affectionately referred to as "Mae", passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Canonsburg Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Canonsburg on May 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Walter W. and Norma B. Morton Schultz.

Mae had been a resident of Houston since 1967. A member of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association, she retired in 1984 from Brockway Glass Plant # 7 in Washington.

She is survived by two sisters, Gloria F. Borkowski of Washington and Mary Lou Miller of Houston; nieces, Denise (Rick) Cox of Washington, Sherry Yancosek of Washington, Debbi (Mike) Noble of Claysville, and Amy Miller of Claysville; nephew, Raymond Miller, Jr. of Friendsville, MD; great nieces and great nephews, William (Jennifer) Rush of Washington, Kristofer (Julia) Rush of Washington, Matthew Yancosek of Washington, Karly (Morgan Wildman) Yancosek-Wildman of Washington, Rebecca Cox of Washington, Nathan Cox of Washington, Mike Noble of Claysville, Melissa (John) Coffey of Herminie, Jonathan Laurine of Claysville, and Raymond Miller, III of Friendsville, MD. Also surviving are numerous great-great nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a niece, Thurl Mae Rasel.

Mae was a dog lover. She also leaves behind her three Yorkies, Haley, Mia, and Amby.

Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra Owner/Supervisor, Lin Webb Funeral Director, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 19, 2015. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
