Donald W. "Big D" Burnside, II

Donald W. “Big D” Burnside, II, 54, of Canonsburg passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Canonsburg Hospital.
He was born on June 29, 1961 in Greensboro, North Carolina, a son of Donald W. and Sandra L. Brown Burnside of Browns Summit, North Carolina.
Donald and his wife were the owners of Single Phase Electrical Services and Big D’s House of Tees, both in Canonsburg.  He was also part owner of Sustaining Energy Solutions in McMurray.
Big D was well known for his big personality that lit up the room.  He was very outgoing.  He loved to have fun and joke around.  Big D enjoyed bringing smiles and laughter to those around him and he will be sadly missed.
On August 30, 2003 he married Patricia A. Verholtz Burnside, who survives.
In addition to his parents and wife, also surviving is a brother, Gary (Valerie) Burnside of Phoenix, Arizona.
