Donald J. DeGrave

Donald J. DeGrave age 63 of Washington, formerly of Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday September 10, 2024, in his home. He was born September 15, 1960, in Washington, a son of the late Joseph E “Cy” and Mary Louise Thielet DeGrave. He had been a longtime Lawrence resident and lived in Washington for the past 20 years. Don earned his GED as a welder through Job Corp in Pittsburgh, had been employed by Dick Corporation and was a member of Laborers Local 1058. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed collecting model trains and coins. Don loved being with his faithful companion, his dog Jewels. Left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Joseph E. (Michele “Shelly”) DeGrave Jr. of Washington and sister, Mary Alice (Gregory) Hoyer, of Lawrence, nieces and nephews, Justin DeGrave, Tiffany Zirwas, Jaclyn P. Zirwin., Conner and Larkyn Hoyer. Deceased, in addition to his parents is his sister Debra Zirwas who passed away June 6, 2017.
